Hi friends! OMG I CANNOT EXPLAIN TO YOU HOW OBSESSED I AM WITH THESE PICS. I always love shooting with Sarah. I titled this post “White Noise” because it seems to capture the essence of the look I was going for: soft ocean-like hues. Light blue and white tones are all over this spring, so we decided to put together a few looks that capture this trend. Plus, it gave us an excuse to frolic around outside on a beautiful sunny day last week.

A white shirt dress is a must for spring and summer! Cinching your waistline in with a thin belt adds shape to an otherwise boxy silhouette. We paired this dress with brown booties to accommodate the ever-changing spring temperatures, but it would be just as easy to opt for some strappy sandals or Birkenstocks if you’re feeling trendy.

Ahhhh rompers. A girl’s best friend. Who wouldn’t want the look of a flowing dress with the comfort and security of your favorite pair of shorts? I must say I’ve loved this style for a few years, and it seems that the romper’s more grown-up sister the jumpsuit is taking center stage now. I really want to find the perfect fit in the near future, but for now, we styled this fun and flirty romper with a layering bralette (very very in-style at the moment, especially for festival fashion) and some “Jesus sandals” as Sarah has dubbed them.

I apologize for the smaller amount of pictures of this look. Since we were technically trespassing in someone’s field on the side of the road and I am the biggest goody-good ever, you could imagine how quickly I wanted to get out of there. HAHA! It was just too gorgeous of a setting to pass up… We kept with the same faded whites and blues that you’ve seen throughout this post for our final look. This time, we switched it up a little by adding a dark floppy hat to contrast creams and whites in the rest of the look. Playing with textures is my favorite thing to do, so naturally this textured tee and lace halter top underneath has me oohing and awing…anyone else? Probably not.
