FACE
1. Smashbox Photo Finish Primer- Original. I have to admit, when I first tried this product out, it felt like it would make my skin greasy and like it wasn’t doing much but sitting on top of my face. But let me tell you, after a few days of using this, I was obsessed. Not only does my makeup stay in place longer, but it also just looks better, ya know? Foundation, concealer, tinted moisturizer- you name it- glides onto my skin now like a dream.
2. Elf Cosmetics Angled Blush Brush. Contrary to its name, I realized this month that I actually much prefer this brush to apply bronzer. This is honestly one of the best finds I’ve ever made with it’s price coming in around $6. Yes, you heard me right. Six bucks and you too can have cheekbones like Kim K. . . ok y’all it takes a bit more effort than that, but hey if you’ve got the time, chisel away!
3. Becca Shimmering Skin Perfecter in Moonstone. I love love love this highlighter. It’s super easy to blend and never fails to add that extra oomph of “I’m awake, glowing, and happy to be alive.”
4. Clinique Dramatically Different Lotion+. This seems to be the perfect amount of moister for my combination skin. It’s not too rich, but it also doesn’t make my t-zone oily.
4. Maybelline Fit Me Concealer. I’ve read a few articles saying that this is a comparable dupe to the NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer. I’ve personally never tried that one, but I have been loving this one throughout October. Its only flaw is that it doesn’t last for a very long time, so I have to retouch it throughout the day. Other than that, I love the finish and coverage it gives my under-eyes, but never feels heavy.
LIPS
1. Bite Beauty Matte Lip Pencil- Aubergine. All the drama of a matte lip without the dry crackled texture- what more could a girl want? I’ve worn this in a blogpost or two here recently. It’s my go-to when I want a deep berry lip.
2. Maybelline Lipstick- Blissful Berry. This is essentially the sheer, more wearable twin of the Bite pencil. Although you can build it up to a more opaque look if you so desire. It’s not matte, but it also isn’t super glossy, which makes it the perfect everyday lipstick in my opinion.
Hope you all had an amazing October. Thanksgiving and Christmas (eepppp!!) are right around the corner, and I’m struggling to contain my excitement. All the love xx.
