THE TIME STARTS NOW
Today, I decided to put my skills of doing my makeup after sleeping an hour past my alarm to the test. . . basically I’m showing you my everyday makeup routine. I really need to set more alarms. Anyway, I chose five key products (including liquid liner, ladies) for my look and threw them on my face in less than five minutes. Now if only I could do my hair in the same amount of time #thickhairprobs. . . HA.
STEP ONE: Tinted Moisterizer and Concealer
This is my go-to combo for beating my post-all-nighter blues. And by blues I mean the shade my under-eyes take on after a long, exciting night of homework. After rubbing in the moisterizer with my hands, I follow up with this concealer in a triangle shape under my eyes. This allows me to fake Kim K’s cheekbones, or at least try to… It’s the thought that counts!
STEP TWO: Liquid Eyeliner and Mascara
Yes, I am living proof that liquid liner doesn’t have add twenty minutes to your routine. The key is: no matter how badly you want to flick that end out, DON’T. This is where it will all go down hill when you’re in a rush. Know your limits. Abide by them. (:
STEP THREE: Illuminating Blush
The right shade of blush will make all the difference. Peachy shades like this one warm the complexion, making you appear less, “OMG I should be sleeping,” and more, “Heck yes it’s Monday, I’m glowing like a pregnant lady.”
So maybe I can’t physically push out of bed on Monday, but hopefully this post gives you comfort in that you now know it IS possible to pull yourself together faster than you can edit a selfie. Heck! With all the time you can now save, you can edit two selfies (not saying I’d advise spamming your followers with that, but you do you). (: Have a wonderful morning, lovelies.
