Brunch in Chiang Mai
Chiang Mai is easily a Top Five city for me after spending a few days here in May. There is this beautiful juxtaposition of ancestral charm and urban metropolis access. The Old City, where we stayed in HOSTEL by BED, is shaped like a square and surrounded by an ancient moat. While inside, you can walk around ornate temples, stroll through markets, and find some of the best vegetarian food on the planet. But once you cross over into the surrounding neighborhoods, you enter into a digital nomad breeding ground – fully equipped with Instagram-worth cafés and restaurants. The two things that stood out the most to me in Chiang Mai: brunch and curry. Both options are exceedingly accessible and some of the best you’ll find in Thailand. It’s a foodie city with a vibe like no other. I can’t recommend adding Chiang Mai to your bucket list destinations enough.

Recently, it’s taken me far too much effort to become even remotely interested in posting on this blog. The truth is – I put too much pressure on myself. I am a perfectionist and felt like I had missed the mark with this platform. What used to be my release has turned into a stressor over the past year. I’m over feeling like that. This isn’t a business – nor do I need it to be. So why am I so worried about keeping up engagement/conversion rates?? It literally doesn’t matter. With that said, I’ll be using this platform as a casual dumping ground for my outfits, shopping black-outs, and random inspirations…just as it was in 2014 before Instagram took over the world.
