After a few unfortunate love-affairs with horrendous chunky necklaces in middle school, I swore off most forms of jewelry until earlier this year. Earrings and necklaces were reserved only for occasions like prom where I was really expected to do the most. I’ve just never been one of those girls that’s excited by diamond rings or pearl strands. I can appreciate them, but I just can’t see myself wearing them.
Anyways, earlier this year, I started falling in love with jewelry for some reason. I am now a firm believer in the sparkle-factor. Adding just a little something to an otherwise “un-done” look makes me feel like I’m 100x better. Also, it just feels good to be all jeweled up with nowhere to go. A subtle power move, if you ask me.

A classic, really. Simple, to the point, and makes me feel like a hip-hop star from the 90s.

ANYTHING STARS
Okay, maybe it’s because astrology is literally being shoved down our throats 24/7 these days, but I love a good star moment. Earrings, rings, necklaces – you name it. If it’s a star, it’s a keeper.
