Here are the summer trend pieces you didn’t know you needed.
I know I’m not the only one who can feel this season of heat slowly slipping away. With only a few more months of summer left, I thought I would share with you my picks for stylish, heat-wave-worthy looks that just might even carry you into fall.
Little White Dresses
A white dress is simple, classic and always appropriate in the summer time. Pair this timeless piece with summer sandals for an effortless look or opt for these edgy designer-inspired boots from Forever 21.

Cropped Flares
Cropped flares have been around for a while, but these summer washes and styles have been catching my eye recently. The wide flares pair nicely with elevated block sandals or equally as chic with crisp white trainers. For a transition piece, opt for denim crops which will look perfect with turtle necks and tight ankle boots in the colder months.

Mules
These slide-on wonders are the perfect pre-fall transition pieces. Mules often have a little more coverage than your typical sandal, making them ideal as the temps drop in a month or so. Also, if you are constantly suffering from heel blisters (me), these are such a welcomed breath of fresh air.

The New bold T-Shirt
Make a statement. This summer, we’ve seen bold statement tees take the fashion world by storm. A favorite slogan tee among the blogger community has been the Christian Dior “We Should All Be Feminists” top. For those of us who don’t have $710 dollars to drop, but still have something to say, there are plenty of more economical options. I’ve listed a few with powerful messages or charitable backgrounds below. Let’s change the world one t-shirt at a time, shall we?

Pattern Play
We all know floral dresses are a summertime staple. This season, pattern received a major upgrade, and I think we can expect this to carry into fall. Try incorporating patterns into unassuming parts of your outfits. Shoes, bags, neck ties, kimonos. . . the list goes on!
As you round out your summer shopping, keep these items in mind! I hope you all are staying as cool as possible in this heat. I do love the summer sunshine, but I’ve about had it with this southern humidity! We just can’t win them all, can we?
XOXOXO, ZO
